Dear Friends & Family,

We are soon to embark on our longest mission trip to date. Since 1998 we have gone to a number of different countries in Europe, Scandinavia, Africa, and the Mideast. Most of these trips were 8 to 14 days; this one will be almost 3 weeks. Before two of those trips, the Lord spoke that it was the first of many trips to that particular nation. Those nations are France and Israel.

In the middle of 2009, we received an invitation to return to France in May of this year. With an open door in Israel, we prayerfully considered another trip to Israel since it’s only 4+ hours from Paris to Tel Aviv by air. We weren’t sure if the timing would be right to go again now, but God confirmed to go.

Israel

In 2007, on our first trip to the Holy Land, we were privileged to be part of a group that were the only outsiders allowed to attend the Arab’s first time participation in the Global Day of Prayer in Israel. It was on that trip that we met Rania, the Arab woman that God raised up to lead this gathering. Last October, she was our host when we taught a prophetic conference for Arab Christian leaders in Cana and ministered elsewhere.

The GDOP is May 23 (Pentecost Sunday) in Nazareth. This year will be another ‘first’. With the backing of other Arab leaders, Rania felt led to invite Messianic leaders. They have accepted. Arab and Jewish believers, including young people, will worship and pray together. Rania says nothing on this scale has happened between these groups in Israel before.

Rania has also invited us to come and be a part of this year’s meeting. We will do teaching and prayer training in the days before the event. This will be our 3rd trip to Israel. Most of our time will be in Nazareth.

France

We will be going to France for the 4^th time. Our friends there are like family. In addition to ministering in their church (about 20 miles northwest of Paris), we will travel to the southwest of France to minister in their church plant. We plan to teach on the prophetic. Four years ago, after traveling to the southeast of France, the Lord revealed that prophetic evangelism is the seed of revival. We are also scheduled to speak at a Brazilian church near Paris.

The estimated cost of this trip is about $3,500. Most of this is the airfare from Pittsburgh to Tel Aviv, then to Paris, and back home again. We’re not sure yet if we will need to rent a car in Israel, and we may possibly have some lodging and food expenses in both nations. We felt like we needed to book our tickets, so we took a step of faith and have already purchased them. (When I priced them the next day, they were more than 12% higher).

We leave Pittsburgh on Saturday, May 15, arriving on the 16^th. We will be in Israel until the 26^th and return home from France on June 4.

We earnestly desire your prayers. Like Moses told the Lord, “If You don’t go with us, we don’t want to go (see Exodus 33). Pray for God’s Presence, His anointing, favor, health, stamina, wisdom, finances, and however else the Lord leads. If He gives you a word for us, please let us know.
